Darkness to Light Training

Darkness to Light is a non-profit organization committed to empowering adults to prevent child sexual abuse.

Our work is guided by the vision of a world free of child sexual abuse, where children can grow up happy, healthy, and safe. We know that prevention is possible, and we believe that it is an adult responsibility to protect children.

Why Adult Education?

1 in 10 children will be sexually abused by their 18th birthday.

When abuse is defined simply as a power dynamic in which a more powerful person forces themselves upon a less powerful person, educating children alone to protect themselves is insufficient. The burden of prevention and protection must sit squarely on the shoulders of adults who are legally and morally responsible for the health and safety of children.

What is Darkness to Light Training?

The program is designed for both youth-serving organizations and for individuals concerned about the safety of children.
